GOSMACS
/goz'maks/ Gosling Emacs. The first Emacs implementation in C, predating but now
largely eclipsed by GNU Emacs. Originally freeware; a commercial version is now
modestly popular as UniPress Emacs. The author (James Gosling) went on to invent
NeWS.
