Library Systems. First installed in 1993, it is now used in over 2000 libraries
worldwide.
Dynix runs on Unix using the UniVerse post relational database. The software is
configurable using tables of parameters. It includes modules for cataloguing,
circulation, OPAC, acquisitions, serials, reserve book room, advance bookings,
homebound, BiblioBus, Pac Plus for Windows, Kids Catalog, Dynix Online Catalog,
media bookings, and community information.
