When testing digital
circuits, it helps if
you know what the logic
levels should be in all
parts of the circuit
under no fault
conditions. This applies to all
combinations of input
signals.
If a fault appears in
the circuit then
checking the levels will
indicate the location of
the fault.
Making a table, as shown, provides a useful reference.
